Action Selection

Aka “Action Points”

A game mechanism where a player has a set number of actions to “spend” on their turn. Usually actions may be “spent” on multiple types of actions, or duplicate actions, or both.

Example: A player may have three actions to spend on their turn. They can choose to roll dice, move pieces, or summon the Elder god. Or, they can summon the Elder god three times, or move twice and then summon, or any other possible combination as long as they perform three total actions.
